We all have stories to tell-- stories that make us who we are, full of complication and beauty, alike. I would like to help you learn how to write your own narrative about your life. I want to help you tell your story as well as better understand the story of your family.
I believe that even difficult life circumstances and experiences can bring about growth, transformation, and strength. Like the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending it with gold, you, too, can become stronger and more beautiful in spite of your hardships, challenges, and traumas.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has worked with adolescents and adults in the public school system, for community agencies, and in private practice. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, supportive, and trauma-informed. I am trained in EMDR Therapy and utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities in working with clients.
I would love to hear your story and help you continue writing your narrative.
