Margot Byrd is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and perinatal mental health specialist, with nearly a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s most vulnerable moments. She is certified in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International (PMH-C) and is deeply passionate about supporting clients through the emotional complexities of fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
A proud graduate of the University of North Florida, Margot earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on trauma-informed and evidence-based care. Her therapeutic approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and relational techniques tailored to each client’s unique journey—whether they’re coping with pregnancy loss, postpartum depression, anxiety, or the identity shifts that come with becoming a parent.
As a new mom herself, Margot brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her practice. She understands firsthand the pressures, joys, and quiet struggles that can surface during the perinatal period. Her goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal.
In addition to her clinical work, Margot actively collaborates with OB/GYNs, midwives, doulas, and other maternal health professionals to ensure holistic care for her clients. She is committed to reducing stigma, increasing awareness, and building community around maternal mental health.
