I have had the privilege of dedicating the past 12 years to working alongside children and families, providing invaluable mental health services across diverse settings such as homes, schools, and child-care centers. In my practice, I firmly believe in adopting a holistic approach that encompasses all aspects of a child's well-being, including their internal development, environmental influences, and relationship dynamics.

While I have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages, my specialization lies in assisting children under the age of ten. I am particularly passionate about offering early interventions to young children and their families, helping establish solid and healthy foundations for lifelong health and well-being. Throughout my career, I have effectively supported children facing various challenges, ranging from attachment issues, trauma, divorce, grief and loss, abuse and neglect, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, to working with gifted children experiencing social-emotional and behavioral difficulties.

I hold a Master's of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling, which I earned from Nova Southeastern University in 2011. Additionally, I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2013 and am also a Registered Play Therapist. My extensive training in evidence-based interventions includes Child-Centered Play Therapy, Child-Centered Group Play Therapy, Brazelton Touchpoints, Infant Mental Health, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as utilizing art therapy techniques and various family therapy modalities.
I employ a strengths-based and empowering approach, focusing on strategies that foster relationship building and enhance communication skills within families. By doing so, I strive to support families in their ongoing progress and success even after completing their mental health services.

I am available for daytime and evening sessions, and I look forward to speaking with you to support your child and family in creating the foundations of lifelong wellness.
