I have been a psychotherapist for over 30 years. During my professional career, I have had the privilege of helping adults, adolescents, and families with: substance abuse, depression, anxiety, parenting skills, phobias, marital communications, and personality disorders. As a military family member, I have had the opportunity to practice in multiple locations throughout the United States and internationally and I understand the challenges that affect military service members and their families. In addition, I have also counseled individuals with sexual abuse, trauma, substance abuse, employment issues, and stressors in every day life.
I have experience working and training clinicians in hospitals, clinics, and private practices. I have also consulted with many large companies to help develop and build counseling programs. My approach is eclectic, utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) amongst other techniques. My greatest passions are helping individuals who are survivors of toxic relationships, substance abuse, and military families.
I look forward to connecting with you to provide new perspectives and coping skills to better manage whatever challenges life throws your way. My primary focus is to ensure that you and I work together to help manage your areas of concern. These are difficult times and everyone could use someone in their corner to assist from beginning to resolution. I would love to be that person for you and help you become your healthiest and happiest self.
