"Your family and your love must be cultivated like a garden.  Time, effort, and imagination must be summoned constantly to keep any relationship flourishing and growing."

Dry Roses in Vase

Relationships are such a significant part of our lives. The quality of the relationships in our lives often plays a big part in deciding the overall quality of our lives. That said, it is common for us to have no idea how to form and support healthy, satisfying, and productive connections with the people who affect our lives. Once we do figure out that our relationships are not serving us well, we have no idea what to do about it.

I am here to help you sort things out and move forward in a way that not only serves you well but also uplifts you, encourages you to set and achieve new goals for yourself and allows you to strengthen and maintain the relationships that matter most while moving on from those that no longer have a place in your life. I will collaborate with you to establish healthy boundaries and engage in clear, effective communication so that you not only find your voice again but also allow it to be heard by others.

Trauma, family of origin issues, betrayal, infidelity, childhood abuse, abuse in adult relationships, sexual assault, sexual and gender identity issues, depression, and anxiety are all huge blows to our self-esteem and self-worth. We can work together to help you to achieve positive change and live a life that you can feel good about. You can not only heal yourself, but you really can find actual, genuine, and lasting happiness and peace.

I earned my master’s degree in counseling from Webster University in 2005. I offer over 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families during some of the most challenging times of their lives. I will provide you with a safe, judgement-free space to work it all out and come up with a plan of action that suits your vision for the future of your life. You don’t have to continue playing your part in a script that was not of your creation.
