I believe that everyone has the power within themselves to take control
and create the environment that they want to live in - sometimes it just
takes help to draw it out. I provide guidance on this journey for those
trying to establish mental and emotional goals and want a plan to
reach them. Issues such as intimate partner violence, bullying, anxiety, just
feeling lost and not in control are examples of things I have worked with
clients to overcome. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Choice Theory application I work with my clients to
evaluate negative and irrational beliefs about themselves and the world
around them, while also exploring what they really want in life for
themselves. Navigating barriers, whether they be mental, emotional,
physical, or cultural, and developing ways to overcome and thrive is a
huge part of why I truly enjoy this work. I love watching people reach
goals they’ve worked for!
I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2025 and am currently pursuing licensure, however I have worked
alongside survivors of domestic abuse through volunteerism for 20
years, and was previously an educator in Florida’s public school system
for 21 years, with students that had established barriers to thriving in
their educational journey.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy time with my two children and their
established hobbies of dance and karate. I also enjoy trail hikes,
paddleboarding our beautiful Florida springs, and relaxing at the
beach. When I am home, writing, drawing, and cooking are my go-to activities.
I love finding and experimenting with new recipes!
If this sounds like the type of guidance you are seeking, I offer a 15
minute consultation to make sure I am the right person for you. If I am,
then I would love to help you or a family member begin the journey to living a joyful life in the quality world you desire.
